KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Validate new SW features for AI Networking products at a system level before releasing them to customers.Leverage AI tools to accelerate software validation cycle.Active contribution to the day-to-day activities of the System Test in an Agile environment.Write Test plans and review it with all stakeholders to cover the scenarios comprehensively and execute efficiently.Build maintainable, high quality and effective automated test scripts.Review and triage test failures and verify fixes.Help customer reported issues by reproducing the issue locally, work with peer teams for faster resolution.Stay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to networking and accelerators.Debugging complex technical issues and collaborate with peer teams.Develop technical relationships with peers and partnersPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Strong experience in Networking Testing and Automation roles.Solid understanding of AI tools and how to leverage them in a large-scale distributed environment.Proficiency in writing Automation Scripts using Python Experience in various test tools, performance testing tools such as Ixia, etc.,Solid understanding of automation framework and well verse with Python.Prior experience in Cloud, Security, Data Center technologies is an added advantageStrong troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of operating systems, kernel mode programming, device drivers, and related technologies and architecturesGood interpersonal skills and effective communicationAbility to write high quality automation code with a keen attention to detailGood understanding of Linux operating system and hypervisor (VMware ESX/KVM)Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plusACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalentThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-RD1#LI-HYBRIDBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
